ESDE 2026 – Where Innovation Met Collaboration
The Annual Meeting of the European Society for Esophageal Diseases (ESDE), held from March 18 to 20, 2026, in Cologne, has successfully concluded. With a final attendance of 380 participants, the congress fulfilled its role as a high-profile platform for interdisciplinary exchange, bringing together leading surgeons, endoscopists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists from across Europe and beyond.
The scientific program, shaped by international experts, delivered comprehensive insights into emerging trends, technological advances, and cutting-edge research in esophageal disease management. These stimulating discussions and the presentation of original research have once again helped shape the future of clinical practice. This academic success was complemented by a vibrant social programme in the city of Cologne, fostering further professional collaboration.
